Dr. Miguel serves as the Medical Director at Dedicated to Healing. He earned his medical training at the University of Southern California (USC) and is a licensed family physician. With a diverse background that also includes experience in Urgent Care, Dr. Miguel brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending quality time with his children and has a passion for basketball.
About DR. VIRGINIA "Vickie" Villegas, DNP, FNP-C, WHNP
Dr. Virginia "Vickie" Villegas, the third of seven children, was raised by immigrant parents who embraced the American dream by learning English and becoming lawful citizens. Her early career began as a candy striper at age 15, followed by her first job at McDonald's, where she developed a strong work ethic that would support her educational and professional journey.

Transitioning from LVN to Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Vickie exemplifies a strong dedication to healthcare and education that inspires many, even while navigating the challenges of a multiple sclerosis diagnosis. Her commitment to advocacy and service is evident in her role as a staff adjunct nursing instructor at both state and community colleges.

The transformation from nurse to advocate reflects her deep commitment to healthcare. With a doctoral degree in nursing from Aspen University (earned in December 2024), along with multiple board certifications and a focus on family care, she is determined to lead and foster positive change. Although she has previously campaigned for a seat on the Board of Trustees, her passion for advocacy continues to drive her efforts.
